Jerry was approved as a World Baptist Fellowship missionary to Brazil in July, 1983.

He was saved in March of 1975 in his dorm room. Jerry is a 1975 graduate of Arlington Baptist College. His sending church is the Crossroads Baptist Church of Wichita, Kansas.

Jerry and Atalias were married in Brazil August 17, 2002.
