Byrd, Stephen & Charlotte - ECUADOR (Retired)

In 1992 Steve and Charlotte were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries. Steve had worked on staff at Trentman Ave. Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas during the years of 1976 to 1982. He then pastored in Alief, Texas until 1992.

Steve was saved at the Calvary Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida in 1973 and is a 1979 graduate of Arlington Baptist College.

Charlotte was saved during Vacation Bible School when she was in the fourth grade. She is a 1977 graduate of Arlington Baptist College.

They were married in Pontiac, Michigan in 1978 and have two sons, Matthew and Jonathan.

They arrived for their first term in Guayaquil, Ecuador in January, 1997.

The Byrd's sending church is Community Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida.

Steve and Charlotte retired in April 2023 after serving the Lord faithfully in Ecuador for 31 years.
