Lane, Debbie - HONDURAS

In August, 1994, Mike and Debbie were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries to Honduras. Their hearts were burdened for foreign missions while in the pastorate in Tacoma, Washington.  

On August 31, 2015, Mike unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord in his sleep in his home in Honduras.  He kissed Debbie goodnight and woke up face-to-face with Jesus. He apparently suffered a heart attack as he had gone to the emergency room with chest pains that night and was sent home.  A moving memorial service was held at Calvary Baptist Church, Grand Prairie, Texas on Labor Day, September 7 with Pastor Brian Loveless officiating.  

Mike was saved at the Calvary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Texas at the age of ten. Debbie was saved in 1965 at thirteen years of age. They were married at Calvary Baptist in Grand Prairie in 1972.

Mike was a 1980 graduate of Arlington Baptist College. The Faith Baptist Church of Tacoma, Washington is Debbie's sending church.

They have two children - Kristy and Brandon.
